GENESIS
PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Uttarkashi has started working in 1987 for Classes in a temporary building. Later on in the year 1998 the school has been shifted to its own newly constructed building in Manera, Uttarkashi.

We strive for excellence in all we do and our team of highly competent staff provides a rich curriculum which is inspirational, exciting and challenging. All our teachers are trained and experienced in delivering the CBSE curriculum. Our beautiful building provides us with an optimal environment where children and their families can feel welcome, secure and valued. An array of additional activities outside the school and beyond school day is also an offer. Through being responsive to the needs of our children and their families we aim to provide a personalized approach which furnishes our pupils with the skills they will need for a rapidly changing future and lifelong learning. We recognize the important role of parents throughout their child’s learning journey and a range of opportunities help us to develop an effective home school partnership.
