Genesis

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Uttarkashi has started working in 1987 for Classes in a temporary building. Later on in the year 1998 the school has been shifted to its own newly constructed building in Manera, Uttarkashi.

New building of Vidyalaya is situated in Manera near Sports stadium. Vidyalaya is about 3 KM far from Bus Stand Uttarkashi. It is Single section school till Primary, Double Section till Classes VI To X and Four Streams in Classes XI & XII.
