Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) is a program that aims to strengthen India’s unity and integrity by promoting cultural exchange between people of different states and union territories (UTs):
Objective
The program’s goal is to enhance understanding and bonding between states and UTs by promoting cultural exchange.
Activities
Activities include cultural exchanges, such as music, dance, and food festivals; translation of books, poetry, and folk songs; exchange programs for writers, poets, students, and teachers; and more.
How it works
States and UTs are paired for a year and prepare an activity calendar to promote cultural exchange.
